The theme for Maths Week Ireland this year was Maths in art. We have been learning about Pentagons and Hexagons and made a variety of 2D shapes using drinking straws. We also looked at the work of artist Paul Klee, who used rectangles, triangles and circles to make wonderful works of art. We studied the painting Sunsets and Castles and made our own interpretation using pastels.
