Today Miss Orr and Mrs Porter found out the outcome of the ECO schools application which was submitted by Miss Orr and the ECO/School Council members.
We are delighted to let our school community know that we have received our Green Flag Status and will be invited in the near future to an awards ceremony.
The assessors made the following comments about the strengths of our school evident in the assessment:
Excellent to be able to incorporate Transport across all key stages and a fantastic collaboration with Sustrans support
The anti littering policy was great and I was impressed by the rota for pupils to take on the responsibility of ensuring the school grounds are kept tidy.
Great work with Cash for Clobber on tackling textile waste

Thanks to the hard work of Miss Orr and the Eco council we now have gained our Green Flag. Thanks to all the staff, pupils and families who supported our ECO initiatives this year which helped us to gain this fantastic award.
