The Kilbroney footballers travelled to Valley Rangers FC today to participate in a 7 aside tournament hosted by Kilkeel PS. After a tentative start the boys soon got into their stride coming second in their group to progress to the quarter final. After winning this 3-0 the boys had a tough task playing Kilkeel PS A team in the semi final. They worked together beautifully and beat Kilkeel PS to get to the final. Unfortunately we were beaten 1-0 by St Mary’s PS Newcastle to come runner up but we were so proud of their attitudes and ability to work and support each other. Good times ahead for this fabulous team. Well done.
