Our whole school theme this year was ‘Maths in Art’.
P7 used the work of the Russian Artist, Wassily Kandinsky (1866 - 1944) to inspire their art work.
Using Kandinsky Circles as an inspiration, they were able to create these amazing Kandinsky Trees. They studied the combinations of colour patterns and recreated Kandinsky Circles as a background. Kandinsky Circles are concentric circles within a square, of various radii, which share a common central point.
